Online Store Review: Cheap and Chic

Happy one month anniversary to us! I love this blog, its my baby and I am more or less obsessed with it. I have been trying really hard to bring the best to our readers, be it online reviews, latest in style or giveaways. I try my best and once again THANK YOU, all of you!

So next up is a review for an e-store on facebook Cheap and Chic .

Cheap and Chic was founded in October 2012 and has a come a long way since then.It was started by two Naga girls from Dimapur, Epibeni Kristi and Abhigail Swu who are both working professionals. Their love for fashion is what led them to launch Cheap and Chic. The collection is varied and extremely pocket friendly.

Owners of Cheap and Chic

Left: Abhigail Swu

Excerpts from the interview:

CnC:  Why Cheap and Chic?

Cheap and Chic: Our Love & Interest in Fashion made us do Cheap & Chic. We have been BBF's since kindergarten and we have been each other's fashion guru. We do not settle when its comes to looking the best so we thought why should we comprises when it comes to doing what we love. Thus Cheap and Chic happened.

CnC: How are you different from the rest of online e-commerce websites sprouting throughout facebook?

Cheap and Chic: Its true that there are lots of options in market when it comes to online stores but both of us being on the heavier side hardly found anything of our choice, size and option. Our Age and Profession limits us to get dressed in a certain manner however we do not forgot our young clients who drops in with certain expectation. Thus, our variety in clothes have expanded over the time keeping in mind that our price tag does not hamper the pockets.

What makes Cheap and Chic unique from other online stores is we entertain our clients even via BBM/What's app/We chat/Line... you name it we got it. Though both our profession is demanding in itself the little amount of joy we get when a clients calls/text/leaves a comment makes our effort all worth the while.

Now that's what we call true fashion lovers! We checked out their store and are already in love with so many products! *sigh* Whoever said money can't buy happiness?

Some beautiful products from their store:

We love those brogues and floral pants! In short we love Cheap and Chic.
Moreover, they have launched their new collection and I have already selected the pieces I love. :D:D
So, what are you guys waiting for? Check out their store here Cheap and Chic

Hope you guys like it,
Cheers,
Ragini

Travel In Style

Hello Peeps!

Whenever I am travelling somewhere, I am confused. I want to be comfortable but I want to dress up in style .  Many people wear heels while travelling but for me it's a strict No-No. I prefer flats to heels and light comfortable clothing.

So, I have put up four outfits one can wear while travelling. I have done four looks, one for the working woman, one  for the lazy chic (Screams Me Me Me), the fashionable lady or the nerd yet classy chic.

For the working woman : Swap the brogues with heels to attend a meeting after arriving at your destination. Wear the brooch for a chic statement.
Sheer White Shirt,
Ankle Length Pants
Brown Brogues
Black Blazer
Hermes Birkin Bag
Honeycomb Brooch

For the Street Smart one: Printed pants are so much in vogue these days, and love those neon heels.         (WANT!)
White Tank Top
Black Printed pants: Forever 21, Koovs
Brown Studded Bag
Long keychain Pendant
Neon Transparent Heels

For the Lazy One: This outfit is for people like me who love to travel comfortably while keeping it stylish. Can just sleeep in this outfit.

Aztec Print Top
White Linen Pants
Aquamarine Blue Flats
Coral Clutch

For the nerdy one: This outfit is for the chic, sporty people. Add on the nerdy glasses for the oomph !!
Ripped Denim Jeans
Brown Ballerinas
Red Mulberry Laptop Bag
Nerdy Glass

So Next time you are travelling I hope you can ape one of these styles.

Till then Keep it Stylish,
Cheers,
Ragini \m/

The devil wears white

Goodmorning my sweethearts,

I saw Bhaag Milkha Bhaag last night and I realised one thing, A Three Hour 8 minutes long movie is not my cup of tea. The movie could have been much better if the duration was reduced. Nevertheless, loved Farhan Akhtar in it. (Super hot body alert!)

Also, a lot of people are telling me to lose weight because I am a fashion blogger now and I should be at the top of my game etc, etc. So one night I decided to question my self, To lose Or Not to lose. And the answer was Screw You! I am awesome the way I am. Well, obviously who wouldn't want a toned, well maintained body, BUT I can't keeeel myself over it.Patience is a very important factor while trying to lose weight, and well I am trying. Moreover, I read a great quote which somehow makes me more lazy to workout .."A woman without curves is like jeans without pockets, You don't know where to put your hands". Hah! So yeah! I love my curves.

Anyways, My next outfit post is a long forgotten kurta I bought two years back, some accessories, a leopard clutch and hot pink moccasins.

The Fashion belle!

Aloha Humans,

Today we are going to review an online e-commerce store on facebook,  The fashionabelle This store provides beautiful dresses, blazers, printed pants, i-phone case covers (you name it, they have it) on their store. The best part about The Fashionabelle is that all the products are below Rs. 2000 (Hands itching already :D ). They even deliver out of India and never comprise on the quality of the products

Here's an excerpt from the interview we had with the owner , Deepika Khattar

CnC: Idea behind the brand?

Deepika: I love clothes and have always admired European and Korean fashion and styling. Being a women, I know how much time and cash in spent on buying dresses and accessories we wear 4-5 times a year from brands like Zara and Forever New. These clothes are damn expensive, so that made me come up with this e-store wherein women can buy party-wear, office wear, casual dresses, shoes, bags, everything under 2k.

Being a MBA degree holder, I always had the desire to start my own business. This is just a small step towards it. We will soon be coming up with a website and exhibitions in different cities.

CnC: Give us some styling tips. Advice for all the chicks out there.

Deepika: One should dress according to their body type. Monochromes and color blocking is very in but overdoing it can result in a total fashion disaster. Everybody should invest in these 5 essentials for this season. Floral or oriental print shirts with rivets. Geometric Print Dresses. Animal Face( not prints!) tees and dresses and a Maxi dress.

Here are some products we simply loved from their store:

Spiked Stilettos
Candy color Dress
Striped Pants
Moreover, they have an end of season sale going on. So what are you waiting for go check out their store here https://www.facebook.com/bewatuwant

Cheers,
Ragini
